Wine Cellar

Wine is an integral part of the gastronomic experience at Le Petit Chateau. A synergy of our wine with the food presented results in a combination of flavors that not only accentuates each bite but each sip of wine as well.

Since 1996, when Chef Scott Cutaneo took over at Le Petit Chateau, he has expanded the quantity and quality of the wine list. Scott is dedicated to selecting the finest wines from around the world at all price points.

Le Petit Chateau also believes in bringing education as well as fine wine to our guests. We offer a wide variety of special tasting dinners throughout the year. Past dinners have included such speaker as author/wine expert Clive Coates, Vintner Tom Shelton of Joseph Phelps Vineyards, and Paul Hobbs of Paul Hobbs winery. In May 2005 we were honored to have in our wine cellar for lunch Christian Pol Roger from the elite Champagne making family.

Our wine cellar includes 2 spaces for those special events, romantic nights and hearty celebrations. The larger wine room can seat up to 12 and is adorned with the triptych masterpiece depicting Scott ideal vision of his French country restaurant. A second room is ideally suited for only 2. The temperature is an appropriate 55 degrees, but the ambiance along with the wines and the food is truly memorable.

Our wine list is never a finished product. It is changed daily to ensure its accuracy. Le Petit Château is consistently in search of new and exciting producers, as well as old, mature favorites. Our ratio of one bottle of wine per every 3 guests shows the appreciation by our guests of the depth and balance of our list. We are taking a stand, "We are worthy of the Wine Spectator Grand Award".
